Canchones Trafalgar ET

Canchones Trafalgar ET has been added to our impressive list of full Peruvian black huacaya herd sires. Trafalgar is an outstanding blue-black male combining the genetics of Canchones Kenzoki (Peru) and Canchones Provocateur (Peru). He is one of three males with this exceptional genetic combination; the other two (Agenda and Referendum) are both working sires in Europe.

Canchones Gendarme

Hand selected from Peru by Peter Kennedy in 2004, Gendarme has a soft handling fleece with excellent crimp structure and high follicular density (tested by Dr Jim Watts). Gendarme and his progeny are consistent show winners. Stud fee $1980 to existing clients.

Canchones Shogun

Canchones Shogun is an elite male renowned for producing "blue black" progeny. Shogun was selected in Peru in 2004 from the Porfirio Diaz herd and, since his arrival in Australia, has sired many elite black males. His progeny have been very successful in the show ring, with many being selected and exported overseas.

Jolimont Cassiano

Bywong are continuing to strengthen our already strong Peruvian black genetics with the addition of Cassiano to our stable of herd sires. Cassiano was imported to Australia in 2003 and will be co-owned with Canchones. He exhibits substance of bone, true to type head and a dense, soft fleece with good staple length. His progeny have been awarded many ribbons, including Supreme Champion at Royal Hobart in 2007.

Canchones Signature

Signature is the progeny of two elite imported Peruvian parents. His sire, Jolimont Cassiano, has excellent substance of bone and grows a very soft fleece with long staple length. The dam, Jolimont Anna Lidia, has already produced three quality stud males from her fine black genetics. Signature had his first cria on the ground in 2008 and we are very pleased with the results. Signature has since been exported to New Zealand making these genetics even more valuable. Progeny are available.
