He also achieved a 2nd place at Bendigo, a 3rd at Seymour and a 1st place at Colac. Judges comments - "well grown out; excellent density, character and style throughout; extraordinarily soft fleece". Roman continued to impress in 2009 with his fleece placed 2nd at Colourbration (out of a field of 10) and 1st in his class at Kyneton Fiesta Fleece show and Bendigo Ag.
